We’ve returned to Dunedin after 20 years in Hong Kong and Sydney to enjoy what we think is one of the world’s best small cities.
We started Steamer Basin with the idea of being a neighbourhood brewer, making beer local to Dunedin.
We’ve since been inspired by the US trend to make seasonal beer, and by our farmers market to use fresh ingredients.
Our goal is simple: make well-balanced beer that celebrates our place and is enjoyable to share.
